With our Thursday night tramp session attracting a huge level of participation the call was made to get the kids out on the water, and thus the Goldy Grom Games, AKA G3 Summit, took place on the first weekend of the school holidays. Our kick off day recorded the lowest temperature on record ever in Queensland for June, but neither the temperature nor the extra chilled water of the Tweed, didn’t deter these young enthusiastic animals. 18 riders started, with 2 boats (thanks to Gold Coast Nautiques and Gold Coast Ski Craft) and a jet ski to ride behind we attempted to destroy the kids on the first day. No such luck though and they all came back firing the second day to play some wakeboarding games on the shoreline. A Triva night tested the skills of these up and comers on Thursday evening and then we trotted off to the Logan Cable to get a bit of slide time on the final day. It was great to see such enthusiasm from the kids and the parents who helped out over the three days. For those of you who missed it. Keep your eyes on this site. There will be more school holiday fun just around the corner. Click here to View the Gallery Goldy Grom Games Results
